Three DIT students and two staff members of our college attended the Medical Camp conducted by the Vidyalaya at Kodiur, Sethumadai, Kilpillur & Paralikadu on 09.06.2024.
The students of Standards Club attended a training programme on ‘Youth to Youth Connect’ organized by Bureau of Indian Standards, Coimbatore on 11th Mar 2024.
All the first year students attended the Environment Awareness through Street Theatre programme on 08th Mar 2024 organized by Department of Environment & Climate Change, Govt. of Tamilnadu.
50 NSS Volunteers and 5 staff members of our college participated in ‘Drug Free India – 2024’ campaign organized by M/s Coimbatore Meditates at CODISSIA, Coimbatore on 02nd Mar 2024.
SURVEY CAMP
A five-day survey camp was started on 26th Feb 2024 for II year DCE students as a part of the curriculum.
20 students and one staff of our college attended a seminar on ‘Agneepath’ (Agniveer) conducted at SRMV College of Arts and Science College on 23rd Feb 2024.
Selvan G K Shavin Kathirvel and Selvan R S Barath of second year DCE won the Second Prize with a cash award of Rs.1500/- for presenting the paper titled “Waste Management” in the National Level Technical Symposium held at Sankara Polytechnic College, Coimbatore on 22nd & 23rd Feb 2024.
Selvan R Sakthi Mukunthan and Selvan T Harshavardhan of final year DCE won the Third Prize for presenting the paper titled “Bamboo as a Building Material Industry” in the State Level Technical Symposium held at Nanjiah Lingammal Polytechnic College, Mettupalayam on 24th Feb 2024.
Two final year DCE students and one staff of our college attended the Medical Camp conducted by the Vidyalaya at Mettupalayam on 24th Feb 2024.
Four final year DCE students and one staff of our college attended the Medical Camp conducted by the Vidyalaya at Vivekanandapuram and Periyanaickenpalayam on 25th Feb 2024.
Two DME students and one staff of our college attended the Medical Camp conducted by the Vidyalaya at Maanar, Korapathi and Kethakaadu on 04th Feb 2024.
Selvan S Ajith and Selvan B Sandeep Raman of final year DME won the First Prize with a cash award of Rs.2000/- for presenting the paper titled “Industry 4.0” in the State Level Technical Symposium held at P A Polytechnic College, Pollachi on 09th Feb 2024.
Twenty NSS volunteers serving food to public (nearly 5000 devotees) along with Sri Akila Baratha Ayyappa Seva Sangam at Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Thirukoil, No. 4: Veerapandi on 29th Dec 2023.
All the students of our college viewed the events of ‘Global Investor Meet 2024’ organised by Government of Tamilnadu on 07th & 08th Jan 2024.
NPTEL COURSE
Selvan P Nithinsoorya of II year DME successfully completed the 12 weeks online NPTEL course on “Joining Technologies for Metals”.
LITERARY COMPETITION
SRMV College of Arts and Science (SF) organised the Gurupooja Elocution Competition on 13th Oct 2023. From our college, two students participated in Tamil competition and one student participated in English competition under XII / Diploma Category. Selvan Kaviyan Palanisamy of III year DME secured Second position in Tamil competition.

INAUGURATION OF GOVT. COMPETITIVE EXAMS TRAINING PROGRAMME
The inauguration of Govt. Competitive Examinations Training Programme was conducted on 11th Sep 2023. Swami Tadbhasananda Maharaj, Correspondent inaugurated the programme and delivered the inaugural address. Sri K Satheesh, Director, M/s Explore Academy, Coimbatore delivered the special address. Totally 45 students from III & II year of all branches enrolled and attended the programme.
CHICAGO ADDRESS RECITATION COMPETITION – 2023
Selvan Kaviyan Palanisamy (Tamil) and Selvan P Karthikeyan (English) of III year DME participated in the Inter-Vidyalaya Recitation Competition conducted on 11th Sep 2023 commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address.
CHICAGO SPEECH RECITATION COMPETITION – 2023
Commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Speech, a Recitation Competition both in Tamil & English versions were conducted in our college and 72 students in Tamil and 81 students in English participated in this competition. On 03rd Aug 2023, the final round was commenced in our Polytechnic College and the following students secured the positions.

NATIONAL LEVEL STUDENT INNOVATION COMPETITION – 2023
The following students of DEEE presented their projects and received the First, Third and Fifth prize in National level Student Innovation Competition – 2023 conducted by Ramakrishna Mission Saradapitha, Belur Math, West Bengal to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Government of India on 01st July 2023.
