SHORT FILM

A short film “Olirum Tamil Nadu, Milirum Tamizhargal” issued by Tamilnadu Govt. was screened on 09^th Oct 2023 for all students.

GUEST LECTURE

Dr. J. B. Chandrasekar, Asst. Prof., Department of Social Work, SRMV CAS delivered a special lecture titled “Objectives of RTI Act-2005” on 12^th Oct 2023. All the first year students attended the lecture.

GUEST LECTURE

Sri C Subramaniyan, Asst. Director and Sri R Chandrabaskar, Jr. Employment officer, District Employment Office, Coimbatore delivered a guest lecture titled “Career guidance for Excelling Competitive Examinations” on 11^th Oct 2023. All the final year students attended the lecture.

GUEST LECTURE

Sri M Saravanan, MD & CEO, and Sri Murali, Director, M/s Samay Consultancy, Chennai delivered a guest lecture titled “Awareness on Career Guidance” on 06^th Oct 2023. All the students of DME and DEEE attended the lecture.

ONE DAY WORKSHOP

On 23^rd Sep 2023, Department of Information Technology organised a one-day workshop on “Image Editing & Programming Skills”. Sri A Dharan, M/s Honey Iconics, Coimbatore and Sri B Saravanakumar, M/s Ardhas Infocom, Coimbatore (Alumnus DIT 2017-20) were the resource persons.

GUEST LECTURE

P Shantha Seela, State Business Facilitation Officer, District Industries Centre, Sri V P Kanian, Director, Pulse Indian Group Companies, Coimbatore and Sri Rajesh Govindarajulu Member of INTACH delivered special lectures on the topic “Entrepreneur Development” on 22^nd Sep 2023. All the third year students attended the lecture.

GUEST LECTURE

Sri A Ajay and Sri S Kishore, Software Engineers. M/s Nilgiris Likemind Technology Pvt. Ltd., Ooty delivered a special lecture titled “Project Designing” on 16^th Sep 2023. All the students of Information Technology attended the lecture.

Er S Sivakumar, Managing Director, M/S Senasan Technologies, Maniyakarrampalayam, Coimbatore delivered a special lecture titled “Introduction to Composite Materials” on 26^th July 2023. All the students of Mechanical Engineering attended the lecture.

Er J Vijayakumar, (Alumnus 1993-95 DCE) Proprietor, M/s SKV Construction, Coimbatore delivered a special lecture titled “Earthen Construction” on 05^th July 2023. All the students of Civil Engineering attended the lecture.

Sri K Satheesh, Director, M/s Explore Academy, Coimbatore gave an Orientation about the “Awareness for writing Competitive Examinations” on 10^th July 2023. All the final year students attended the lecture.

Sri R Baskar Sethupathi, (Alumnus 2011-13 DEEE) Sales cum Service Executive, M/s EHP India, Chennai delivered a special lecture titled “Advanced Trends in Digital Measuring Systems” on 12^th July 2023. All the students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering attended the lecture.

GUEST LECTURE

Sri V Sriram, XML Specialist, M/s TNQ Technologies, Coimbatore delivered a special lecture titled “Web Design and Development” on 14^th July 2023. All the students of Information Technology attended the lecture.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

A total number of 94 students of our college participated in the “International Yoga Day Celebration” held at SRMV GAPEY, SRK Vidyalaya on 21^st June 2023. In our college, 81 students participated in the Yoga Demonstration.

GUEST LECTURE

Dr M Jaikumar, Assocoate Prof. and Head of Department of BCA, SRMV CAS delivered a special lecture titled “Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” on 26^th June 2023. All the third year students attended the programme.

EYE SCREENING CAMP

Our College organised an Eye Screening Camp in collaboration with M/s The Eye Foundation, Coimbatore on 21^st June 2023. A total number of 599 students and 16 staff members were benefitted.

GUEST LECTURE

HANDS-ON TRAINING

All the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering attended a one day Hands-on Training on “PLC with SCADA” conducted by Sri S Ranganathan, Assistant Professor, Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore on 10.02.2023.

Sri K Saravanakumar, PCB Design Engineer, M/s Pactron India Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore delivered a special lecture titled “Recent Trends in PCB Design” on 04^th Feb 2023. All the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department attended the lecture.

Sri B Mohankumar, Alumnus (2006-2009 DIT) Business Development Manager, M/s Angler Technologies, Coimbatore delivered a special lecture titled “Current Trends in IT Industries” on 02^nd Feb 2023. All the students of Information Technology Department attended the lecture.

Er P N Senthilkumar, Alumnus (1984 – 1987 Mechanical) Vice President – Human Resource, M/s Anamalais Toyota Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore delivered a special lecture titled “Trends in E – Vehicle Technology” on 25^th Jan 2023. All the students of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Departments attended the lecture.

B. Manoj Kumar, Proprietor, M/s Q Builders, Coimbatore delivered a special lecture entitled as “Construction Techniques” on 02^nd Sep 2022. All the students of Civil Engineering attended the lecture.
