Awareness Programme on General Election
Our College conducted an awareness programme on General Election to the Tamilnadu Legislative Assembly on 12th Mar 2026. All the third year students attended the programme.
ISO Recertification Audit
An ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance audit was conducted by M/s TUV SUD, South Asia Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore on 03rd Mar 2026.
Science Exhibition
On the occasion of National Science Day, Science Exhibition titled “Contribution of Science in Engineering & Technology” was organised in our Polytechnic College on 26th Feb 2026. Swami Tadbhasananda Maharaj, Correspondent, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College inaugurated the Science Exhibition.
A total of 52 projects under the ideas and concepts of Basic Sciences, 12 mini projects in Civil Engg, 15 mini projects in Mechanical Engg,19 mini projects in Electrical and Electronics Engg and 8 Information Technology software based projects were exhibited. Nearly 1075 students visited the exhibition. Swamiji’s, Heads of institutions of Vidyalaya and Staff members from various institutions also visited the exhibition.
INTER-POLYTECHNIC TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM
Our college organised a State Level Inter-Polytechnic Technical Symposium on 20th Feb 2026. 77 teams from various polytechnic colleges enrolled and 28 teams were selected for the symposium. Innovative models and project works were presented and a skill contest on Computer Aided Design and Programming were conducted. Swami Tadbhasananda Maharaj, Correspondent of our College distributed the prizes to the winners.

GOVT. PRICELESS LAPTOPS DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION
On 11th Feb 2026, we have received 227 Nos. of Government Priceless Laptops from Govt. Womens’ Polytechnic College Coimbatore issued by M/s ELCOT. On 13th Feb 2026, in a function held at our college, laptops were issued to 227 pre-final year students of all branches. Thiru A Arivarasu, Municipality Chairman and Tmt. R Rathi Rajendren, Municipality Vice Chairman Gudalur Municipality, Coimbatore gave special addresses and issued the Government Priceless Laptops to students.

On 03rd Feb 2026, Er. V Venkatesh, State Head, (Tamilnadu & Kerala), M/s Business Analytics, College Dunia delivered a special lecture about “Higher Studies and Career Pathways after Diploma”. All the students of Mechanical Engineering Department attended the lecture.

On 02nd Feb 2026, Er. Stalin Ganesh, Asst. Engineer, TNEB Jothipuram, Coimbatore and Er. P. Amarnath, MD, M/s Tamil Nadu Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd delivered special lectures about “Recent Trends in PV Solar System”. All the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department attended the lecture.
GUEST LECTURE
On 29th Jan 2026, Sri K Prathap Singh, Managing Director, M/s 3D Maker, Coimbatore delivered a special lecture about “Recent Trends in 3D Printing”. II and III year students of Mechanical Engineering Department attended the lecture.
Ceremony of Awarding Diploma
The Ceremony of Awarding Diploma was conducted in our college on 09th Aug 2025. This academic year (2024 – 25) 179 students were received Diplomas in all four Braches (DCE 23; DME 56; DEEE 55; and DIT 45). Swami Tadbhasananda Maharaj, Correspondent of our college presided over the function and welcomed the gathering. Er A Senthilkumar, (Alumnus DCRE 1985-1988) Managing Director, M/s Sakthi Precast, Tirupur delivered the Convocation Address.
CARRER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Our College Career Development Cell conducted a ‘Employment Opportunities in Current Scenario’ for all final year students on 26th Sep 2025. Sri C Subramanian, Asst. Director, Career Guidance Wing, Coimbatore and Sri R Chandra Bhaskar, District Employment Officer, Coimbatore delivered the special lectures.
BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS
The Bureau of Indian Standards – “Standards Club” was organized a Quiz Competition in our College on 03rd July 2024. Sri G Saravanakumar, Standards Promotion Officer, Bureau of Indian Standards, Coimbatore Branch, conducted the competition. Totally 50 students from III year of all branches attended the programme.
EYE SCREENING CAMP
Our College organised an Eye Screening Camp in collaboration with M/s The Eye Foundation, Coimbatore on 20th June 2024. A total number of 196 students and 12 staff members were benefitted.

The “Plumbing Course” for local persons of Panchayat Plumbers from Karamadai Block was organised by our College under Nal Jal Mitra Programme was commenced from 25th Mar 2024 to 06th Apr 2024. Totally, 7 members were benefited by this programme.
