Vigilance Awareness week is observed from 30.10.2023 to 05.11.2023 with the theme “Say no to corruption; commit to the nation”. Staffs of our college took the integrity pledge on 30.10.2023 at 11 AM.

On 22nd Sep 2023, Sri N Hari, Lecturer / EEE delivered a lecture on ‘Contribution of Faraday to Electrical Engineering’ on the occasion of ‘Michael Faradays Birthday’. All the DEEE students attended the programme.
SOCIAL JUSTICE DAY
The ‘Social Justice Day’ was observed on 15th Sep 2023. All staff members of our college took ‘Social Justice Day’ pledge.

WORLD FIRST AID DAY
On 09th Sep 2023, EEE Department and NSS of our college celebrated ‘World First Aid Day’. Dr S Sukumari, Paediatric Physiotherapist, RKMVERI-FDMSE delivered the lecture on ‘Principles and Practices of First Aid’. All NSS volunteers and 2nd and 3rd year students of DEEE attended the programme.
SMALL SCALE INDUSTRY DAY
On the occasion of ‘Small Scale Industry day’ on 31st Aug 2023, Sri S Karthik, Manager, Canara bank, NSN Palayam branch delivered the lecture on ‘Influence of Small Scale Industry (SSI) in the Global Economy’. All the final year students attended the programme.

WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department celebrated ‘World Humanitarian Day” on 19th Aug 2023. The students of II and III year DEEE contributed Rs 1850 towards Sister Nivtida Anna Yojana Scheme.
SADBHAVANA DIWAS DAY
The ‘Sadbhavana Diwas Day’ was observed on 18th Aug 2023. All staff members of our college took ‘Sadbhavana Diwas’ pledge.
ANTI-DRUGS AWARENESS
The Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu launched state level mega programme on ‘Drive against Drugs’ to raise the students’ awareness of the drug addiction on 11th Aug 2023. In our College, staff members and all the students of first year took pledge on Anti-drugs abuse.
WORLD BIO-FUEL DAY
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department celebrated ‘World Bio-Fuel Day” on 10th Aug 2023. Sri J Jagan Rupchand, Lecturer / EEE delivered the lecture on ‘Bio-fuel – Bio Energy’. All the students of DEEE attended the programme.

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department celebrated ‘National CAD day’ on 02nd Aug 2023. Sri J.Jagan Rupchand, Lecturer / EEE delivered the lecture on ‘Importance and Influence of CAD in Electrical Engineering’. 2nd and 3rd year students of DEEE attended the programme.

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department celebrated ‘World Nature Conservation Day’ on 28th July 2023. Sri K S Vishnudas, Lecturer / EEE delivered the lecture on ‘Save Energy – Save Nature’. 2nd and 3rd year students of DEEE attended the programme.
PI APPROXIMATION DAY
The Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department celebrated ‘Pi Approximation Day’ on 22nd July 2023. Sri S Srisanthoshkumar, Lecturer / EEE delivered the lecture and a video about ‘Calculation of Pi Value’ was screened. 2nd and 3rd year students of DEEE attended the programme.

The Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department celebrated ‘167th Birth Anniversary of ‘Nikola Tesla’ on 10th July 2023. Sri N Hari, Lecturer of EEE Department delivered the special lecture and a video show about ‘Nikola Tesla’ was screened. All the students of DEEE attended the programme.

Sri N Dhamotharan, Inspector of Police, Periyanaickenpalayam delivered a special lecture about the Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The students and staff of our college took pledge against the use of drugs.

A total number of 94 students of our college participated in the “International Yoga Day Celebration” held at SRMV GAPEY, SRK Vidyalaya on 21st June 2023. In our college, 81 students participated in the Yoga Demonstration.
EQUALITY DAY
The ‘Equality Day’ was observed on 13th April 2023. All staff members and students of our college took pledge on the Equality Day.
NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY
The National Science Day was celebrated on 28th Feb 2023. Dr S Gobi, Asst. Professor, Department of Physics, SRMV College of Arts & Science delivered the special lecture titled “The Pioneering of Indian Research by Swami Vivekananda” All the students of first year attended the function.
NATIONAL PI DAY
The Basic Engineering Department celebrated ‘National Pi Day’ on 13th Mar 2023. Sri N Eswaran, Sri S Ramasamy and Sri K Sekar, Lecturers of Mathematics Department delivered the lectures and a video show about ‘Life of Pi’ was screened. First year DCE & DEEE students attended the programme.
AWARENESS PLEDGE
The awareness about the ban on Single Use Plastics (SUP) was observed on 28th Feb 2023. All staff members and students of our college took pledge on awareness of plastic usage.
National Deworming Day
On the National Deworming Day, Albendazole tablets issued by Primary Health Centre, Gudalur Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore were distributed to all the students on 17th Feb 2023.
Bonded Labour System Abolition Day
The ‘Bonded Labour System Abolition Day’ was observed on 09.02.2023. All staff members and students of our college took pledge against Bonded Labour System.
National Voters’ Day
