In commemoration of 125th Anniversary of Ramakrishna Mission & 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) Celebrations, Our Polytechnic College organised an Inter-Polytechnic Elocution Competition in Tamil in the topic “Swami Vivekananda’s Vision of an Ideal India” at our Polytechnic College premises on 13th September 2022. The inauguration of the programme started with the prayer.
Dr. S Chandrasekaran, Principal of our Polytechnic College welcomed the gathering. Swami Tadbhasananda Maharaj, Correspondent gave the benedictory address. Swami Japayajnananda Maharaj, Hostel warden gave the special address. Sri. A Rajagopalan, HOD (i/c) / Mechanical Engineering introduced the judges of the competition.

Dr. R Anand, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil, SRMV College of Arts and Science informed about the rules and regulations of the competition. Totally from 18 colleges, 78 participants (39 boys and 39 girls) participated and delivered the provoking thoughts and ideas of Swami Vivekananda in their own way.
During the Prize distribution function, Swami Garishthanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya presided over the function and presented the prizes to the winners. Dr. S Chandrasekaran, Principal and Swami Tadbhasananda Maharaj, Correspondent also presented the prizes.
